Punk Rock ile Punk turunu birbirini karistirmazsak, ilk kuralan ve ilk punk albumu cikartan gruptur.

Zamaninda Sex Pistols mi yoksa Ramones mu ilk punk grubu diye tartisirdik, ama tarihler her seyi gosteriyor: Mart 1974 yilinda kuruluyor Ramones, Sex Pistols ise 1975 yilinin 1 ocaginda. Ramones ilk albumunu Mayis 1976 cikartiyor, Sex Pistols ise Kasim 1976 da...

Benim de fazla dinlemedigim bir grup ama Punk'tan bahsedeceksek buyrun size babasi :)

Zamaninda, daha cok ''August and Everything After'' albumunden ''Mr. Jones'' sarkisiyla taninirdi. En son Shrek 2 filmi icin yaptigi sarkiyla tanindigini duydum ama benim icin farketmez, en baba sarkisi ''Round Here'' benim icin, yorulmadan, sikayet etmeden yuzlerce kez dinleyebilirim.

Belki sarkinin sozleriyle alakasi yok ama beni yazliga goturur, o sicak gunun serin aksamina dogru, gunes yeni yeni batmasina, gece cafe de her yer curcuna iken bir yerlere dalmaya, vs vs simdi caliyor fazla cosmayim...

Agir metal muzikten tutun techno muzik hayranlarinin bile hayran oldugu, 7den 70e kadar herkesin rahatca dinleyebilecegi, hafif bir grup. Ingilterenin en buyuk Rock-Metal kluplerinde bile calindigina cok kez tanik olmustum. Yani kafaniz karismasin, metale ya da technoya kacan hic bir tarafi yok sadece cok farkli muzik zevki olanlarin hayran oldugunu gordugum bir grup, bir bakima farkli bir hayran kitlesi var diyebilirim.

Yanlis hatirlamiyorsam solisti Adam Duritz, Jennifer Aniston (tabi Brad'le evlenmeden once) cikmisti. O zamanlar boyle magazin sohbetleri e yapiyormusum demek :)

enigmanin disinda new age gruplari var mi diye baska gruplar ararken onumuze cikacak ilk gruplardan biri. Ne kadar enigma kadar genis olmasa da denildigi gibi dinlesi bir gruptur.

Ozellikle ''Ameno'' parcasii ve remix'i.

Green Day, offspring gibi gruplar gunumuzun punk rock muziginin piyasasiysa, tabi ki Bad Religion'a baba demek yanlis olmaz. Sex Pistols ayri bir katagoridedir ve artik punkin yuz karasi olarak tanindigini da uzulerek belirteyim.

Punk'tan cok Punk Rock turunu severim, ve bunun basinda Bad Religion gelir.

Ilginctir cogu kisi Punk muziginin Punk Rock muzik turunden once cikti diye bilir. Yanlis degilsem, Punk Rock ilk olarak, ''The Seeds'' ve ''The Standells'' onculugunu de 60'larin ortasinda cikar, tabi simdileri garaj muzik olarak bilinirler. Sonra 70lerin ortasinda bildigimiz isyankar ve edepsiz Punk muzigi, Ingiltere’de Ramones, Sex Pistols, ve Damned ile cikar. O donemlerde belki Clash icin ancak Punk Rock diyebiliriz ama o da reggy turunden etkilenmis pun rock muzigi olarak ayrilir.. Tabi ki 70'lilerin punki sonra ki punk rock gruplari etkilemistir. Lakin cok farkli turlere dogru da gidilmistir. Yine de Punk rock kanini 60lilarin garaj muzik gruplarinda alir ve 70lilerde David Bowie, Iggy Pop, T. Rex gibi gruplar onculugunu yapar, yine de bilindik melodik ve canli punk parcalari the Beatles’in dunyaca basari ile baslar, ve Green Day, Rancid, offspring ile yasamaya devam eder, neyse gerisini Punk Rock terimine birakayim…


Punk tarihi uzatmassam kisacasi Bad Religion Punk degil Punk Rock grubudur. 80lilerin en iddiali anti-politik ve anti-din punk rock grubudur.

Simdileri Anti-Bush da ya da Anti-American da diyebiliriz.

80'lilerden firlayip gunumuze gelmis rock grubu gibi. O bildigimiz eski Hard Rock turunun olmedigini listelere girerek ispatlayan bir grup. Giyinisleri, melodileri ve hatta sozleri bile 80'lilerin hard rock gruplarini cagristiriyor bana.
