Samuel Barber'in Adagio for Strings basyapidan sonra en hasta oldugum bu parca Lord of The Rings ''Two Towers'' icinde kullanilmistir.

Film muziklerine merak sarmama sebep olan besteci. Tabi ilk 'Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves' film muzikleriyle adama hasta oldum dersem karizma bozulmaz umarim :) .

Bir yandan klasik muzik bestelerken diger yandan Pink Floyd, Metallica, Queensryche, Eric Clapton, Bryan Adams, Sting, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Jeff Lynne, Kate Bush gibi isimlerin oldugu rock camiasiyla yakindan calismis biri.

Malesef Londra'da 18 Kasim 2003 tarihinde gecirdigi kalp krizi ile olmustur. Muzik ve film endustrisi icin buyuk bir kayip. yine de muzikleriyle efsanelesecegine eminim.

'Nothing Else Matters' gibi unlu sarkilardan tutun Mel Gibson'in ve Bruce Wills'in oynadigi cogu filmlere de imza atarak farkliligini gostermistir.

Ozellikle 'Last Action Hero' film muziklerine bayilirim. Bu albumde Queensryche, AC/DC, Megadeth, Tesla gibi begendigim metal gruplariyla calisarak saygimi daha da kazanmistir.

Ne desem az. Yani The Magnificent Seven, Great Escape, Airplane, Ghostbusters, My Left Foot gibi baba filmlerin muzikleirni yapan Elmer Bernstein hakkinda harbi desem yetmez, baba desem az kalir. Asmis adam...

Malesef 18 Agustos 2004 tarihinde olmustur. 259 filmde besteleri kullanilmistir. 1952'den beri klasiklesmis cogu filme imza atmistir.
