When Venus Turned Blue

As the constellations draw near
We die under the same night sky
Passion spreads like ardent flames
In the webs of cruel fate
And bounds of the mortal dance
Where nightmares swirl with agony
Faint smells of juniper invade the grotto
And four green thorns pierce the darkness
There, angels whisper sanguine wishes
Spirits carry visions from a mirage
Dark jade, elegant and innocent
Those weary memories entombed
Now,
I cut my fingertips
To touch the eternal dark velvet
Sewn on it the promises of the damned
Laying on crimson grave sands
Come with me, stare into the void
See the dark return your gaze
There, visions appear
Mayflowers bloom on anthracite hills
Where the spirit of the mountain dwells
Lying down on a bed of pebbles
Hallucinating dreams of suffering
Under the abominable sun rays
Where mind drifts away and splits
Hide,
From the ineffable and terrible gaze
Those of dark azure, pale and cruel
A poisoned razor from Mars' wrath
A host of withered souls
Bleeding into a burgundy haze
Creeping like frost
As slow as grave moss
Here,
In the dark room
The sulphur flame burns me away
Like our days gone by
As I gaze into the dark waters
Akin to the hollow sea
I cast the stars like powdered diamonds
On our dark velvet path
The constellations turn dim and die
And now,
There is nothing left to say,
