Beneath the moon’s soft silver glow,
Where shadows dance and secrets grow,
I trace your name in stars above,
A fragile hymn to hopeless love.
Your eyes, a tempest, wild and deep,
They haunt the corners of my sleep.
A glance, a spark, a fleeting sigh—
Enough to set my soul awry.
Your voice, a melody so rare,
It lingers, tangling in the air.
Each word you speak, a siren’s song,
To which my weary heart belongs.
But love, unspoken, cannot bloom,
A rose entombed in shadowed gloom.
And yet I crave your phantom touch,
Though longing aches and hurts too much.
I’d steal the stars to light your way,
To guide you back to me someday.
But fate’s cruel hand keeps us apart,
Two worlds, one ever-breaking heart.
So here I stand, beneath the skies,
With trembling lips and tearful eyes.
A hopeless fool, lost and undone,
Still loving you, my setting sun.
