Hakkı bilip haklı yanında durmak

We called each other brothers and sisters, we shared the same table
Some lived well-fed, some lived hungry
We were astonished by those who rose by stepping on our backs
We couldn't be truly human

They were silent when they were young, they appeared innocent
The hatred within them grew over time
They usurped rights and turned the oppressed into a game
We couldn't be truly human

We grew up in a house where there was no justice
While there was justice for some, there wasn't for others
Souls that were postponed were condemned to cruelty
We couldn't be truly human

We were always the ones who gave, those who took remained silent
A heart that knew no gratitude hid in arrogance
Those who forgot the past exalted themselves
We couldn't be truly human

Our door was open, but the roads were closed
Their tongues were tied to ask and inquire
The thing called loyalty gathered dust on the shelf
We couldn't be truly human

They slandered, the oppressed were accused
The righteous were alone, the unjust were applauded
Conscience was silenced, self-interest prevailed Crowned
We couldn't be human beings like human beings

He was considered a man who didn't keep his word
His apology was thought to be worse than the offense
His mirror was words, his deeds were darkness
We couldn't be human beings like human beings

As anger grew, reason was pushed aside
A momentary hatred turned into many wounds
Those who supported the unjust remained innocent
We couldn't be human beings like human beings

We offered bread to those who threw stones
We touched hearts and made them thirsty
We spent our lives for the sake of dreams
We couldn't be human beings like human beings

We didn't choose our guests, we reserved our food
We crossed the swamp and parted ways
We preferred poison while not drinking the knot
We couldn't be human beings like human beings

Perhaps they will learn when they are in trouble
Eyes don't see until they fall from pride
Can they call someone who doesn't know himself a human being?
We couldn't be human beings like human beings

I'm tired now, I say my words are finished
I forgive my rights, I lay down my burden
Now, God I say, let him reform.
Mahrumi says: We couldn't become human.

We rushed to the broken home with joy.
We didn't expect gratitude, we didn't see awareness.
We couldn't become truly human.

Eyes stopped seeing those in distress.
Loyalty was forgotten, only words remained.
Those who said, "I saved the ship," their knees...
We couldn't become truly human.

Slander became a weapon, lies spread.
The righteous remain silent, the unrighteous are given free rein.
Conscience abandoned, friend and foe were identified.
We couldn't become truly human.

Pride built a palace in the heart.
Everyone's mirror remained broken within themselves.
Servitude was forgotten in pursuit of the world.
We couldn't become truly human.

The face that makes promises and doesn't keep them. Thick-headed ones
Those whose apologies are worse than their offenses
Those who wander aimlessly without doing anything
We couldn't become truly human

Those who throw bread at those who throw stones are tired
Those who remain silent at night and ask God
Many pure hearts are scattered in the desert
We couldn't become truly human

We thought laughing at the fallen was a virtue
We were deceived by pride as a god, and ego as an idol
We never learned to remain human
We couldn't become truly human

They remember the truth only when they are in trouble
Before silence, after a cry
Pride and curiosity that doesn't know itself
We couldn't become truly human

Mahrumi says: Enough of the silence
Knowing the truth and standing by the righteous
Let my conscience speak, not me
