Şarap küpü her nerde dursa şaraptır,
Gül, mezbelelikte bile güzel kokar.
Altın tasa dolsa da haramdır şarap,
Değer, bulunduğu yerle değil, özle artar.

Misafirsin bu hanede ey gönül, bil ki,
Umduğun değil, bulduğunla gülmeli.
Hane sahibi ne derse odur, unutma,
Sitem etme, üzülme, sabretmeli.

Merhamette güneş gibi ol ey dost,
Cömertlikte akarsu gibi ak.
Tevazu toprağı gibi alçak gönüllü,
Kusurları örtmede gece kadar sak.

Altın neye yarar, can neye bedel,
Sevgiye harcanmazsa, sevgiliye verilmezse eğer.
Aradığın seni arıyorsa zaten,
Aşk nasip işidir, hesap işi değil, bil sen.

Çiçek ol, etrafa gülücükler saç,
Toprak olup seni başının üstünde taşıyanlar var.
Yürürken başım yerde, bu seni rahatsız etmesin,
Edebine takılmamak, tek derdimiz.

Kimle gezdiğine, dostluk ettiğine dikkat et,
Bülbül güle, karga çöplüğe götürür.
Gerek yok her sözü laf ile beyana,
Bir bakış bin söz eder, anlayana.

Gönülde aşk ve sevgi ateşi yoksa,
Karanlıklarda kaybolmuş demektir insan.
Toprak gibi sessiz olduğum an bil ki,
Gökte şimşek gibi gürlüyor feryadım.

İsyan değil, imtihanlardaydı insan,
Fark etseydi, kurtuluş bulacaktı.
Öyle bir yar sev ki evladım,
İftar bekleyen oruçlu gibi seni beklesin.

Ali’den sana miras kalsa da Zülfikar,
Eğer Ali’nin yüreği yoksa sende,
Ne işe yarar, o kutlu kılıç?
Hayata dair her sözü özümse,

Ne sitem eyle, ne de kalbine kül.

Merhamet güneşi gibi ol, sıcak ve saf,
Cömertlik su gibi aksın, durmasın.
Toprak gibi tevazu göster, alçak gönüllü,
Gece gibi ört kusurları, kimse görmesin.

Altın nedir, inci neye yarar,
Sevgiye harcanmazsa, gönüllere sunulmazsa?
Aradığın seni arıyorsa eğer,
Aşk, nasip işidir, hesaba gelmez.

Çiçek ol, etrafa neşe saç,
Toprak olur seni başta taşıyan.
Başım yerdeyken sakın aldırma,
Edebine düşmemek tek kaygım bu an.

Dostlarını seçerken dikkat eyle,
Bülbül güle götürür, karga çöplüğe.
Her sözü dile dökmek gerekmez,
Bir bakış bin sözü eder, anlayana.

Aşk ve sevgi yoksa bir gönülde,
O kişi karanlıkta, Allah nurundan yoksun.
Sessiz duruyorsam toprak gibi bil ki,
Feryadım göklerde, şimşek gibi yankılı.

Farkına varan kurtuluşu bulacak.

Humble as the land of humility,
