Aşağıovacık, uzak bir diyar gibi saklı,
Yaylasında umut, ormanlarında sır saklı.
Bir tarih yatar köy camisinde, Abdülhamit’in izinde,
Sessiz dua eder köylü, gönül hep derin izinde.
Şehitlerin gölgesi düşer taşlı yollarına,
Çanakkale’nin anısı, Sarıkamış’ın karına.
Ormanda mantar dolu, köylünün ekmek kapısı,
Gelen yabancı da bilir, burası huzur tapusu.
Futbol sahasında yankılanır gençlerin sesi,
Şampiyonlukla doludur bu köyün hevesi.
Bir yudum alırsın sudan, serinlik vurur cana,
Oruca başlar burada yürekler Ramazan’da.
Büyükler, alimler, nice kıymetliler çıkar buradan,
Geçmişin izleriyle dolu, geleceğe uzanan.
Bu köyde saklıdır hayat, sessiz ve ağırbaşlı,
Her patikasında saklı, huzurla dolu aşkı.
Aşağıovacık derler, saklı cennetin adı,
Kök salar geçmişe, uzanır geleceğe tadı.
You take a breath in the village, peace fills you,
Green cover, cool waters are a cure for all kinds of illnesses.
Asagiovacik, hidden like a distant land,
There is hope in its plateaus and secrets in its forests.
A history lies in the village mosque, in the footsteps of Abdulhamit,
The villager prays silently, the heart is always in its deepest footsteps.
The shadows of the martyrs fall on your stony roads,
The memory of Çanakkale, the wife of Sarıkamış.
The forest is full of mushrooms, the villagers' bread and butter,
The foreigner who comes also knows that this place is a deed of peace.
The voices of young people echo on the football field,
This village is full of championship aspirations.
You take a sip of water, it feels cool,
Hearts here start fasting in Ramadan.
Elders, scholars, many valuable people come from here,
Full of traces of the past, reaching into the future.
Life is hidden in this village, quiet and dignified,
A love full of peace, hidden in every path.
They say Asagiovacik, the name of the hidden paradise,
Its taste takes root in the past and extends to the future.
