Dünyanın Peşinde

Dünya malına kapıldık, gönülden verdik,
Sevdalandık servete, hayallere daldık.
Bizi sürükledi ardına, götürdü bir yola,
Bilinmeze doğru hızla, kaybolduk orada.

Erkek, kadın demedik, gece gündüz çalıştık,
Servet derinleşti, gönülden feragat ettik.
Kazancımız büyük sandık, ama neyi yitirdik?
Düşünmedik bir an olsun, neyi geride bıraktık?

Büyük evler kurduk, duvarlar yüksek,
Ama içleri boş kaldı, hane oldu sessiz, tek.
Herkes işine koştu, o devasa evlerde,
Mutluluk mu kayboldu, yoksa huzur elde mi?

Anne işe gidiyor, çocuklar kreşte büyüyor,
Evet, mal mülk var ama yürekler küçülüyor.
Kazandık arabalar, evler ikincisi oldu,
Ama çocuklar büyürken, annesi nerede soldu?

Para var, şükür elbet, Allah bereket versin,
Ama bir sofrada toplanmak bile artık imkansız.
Aile içi bağlar, zayıfladı farkında değiliz,
Dostluk, kardeşlik kayboldu, boş kaldı dizimiz.

Bir evde oturup sohbet etmek mi zor oldu,
Herkes kendine dönük, kalpler dondu, soğudu.
Kazandık çok şey, kaybettik daha fazlasını,
Bereket gitti, huzur oldu kaybolan hasılatı.

Maddi imkanlar genişledi, evler yükseldi,
Ama dostluklar, akrabalar, hepsi silindi.
İş büyüdü, para çok, ama neye yarar?
Kalpten huzur gidince, hayat anlamsız kalır.

Toplanamaz olduk, ailemizle bir arada,
Sohbetler kayboldu, kaldık yalnızlıkta.
Parayla alınmaz saadet, sevgi gerek,
Dünyaya değil, yüreğe yatırım demek.

Bir sofrada toplanmak, en büyük kazanç,
Aileyle geçirilen vakit, işte asıl barış.
Mal mülk genişlese de, yüreğimiz daraldı,
Huzuru yitirdik dostlar, dünya bizi aldattı.

Şimdi dönüp bakalım, neyi unuttuk,
Kaybolan şey belki de, gönülden huzur.
Kazandık ama kaybettik, bunu fark edin,
Dünyanın peşine değil, hakikate yönelin.

Chasing The World

We got caught up in the world's wealth, we gave it wholeheartedly,
We fell in love, we plunged into wealth, dreams.
He dragged us after him, took us on a path,
Fast into the unknown, we disappeared there.

We didn't say man, woman, we worked day and night,
Fortune deepened, we renounced wholeheartedly.
We thought we had a big win, but what did we lose?
We didn't think for a moment, what did we leave behind?

We built big houses, the walls are high,
But they remained empty inside, the house became quiet, the only one.
Everyone rushed to work, in those huge houses,
Has happiness disappeared, or has peace been achieved?

Mom goes to work, children grow up at daycare,
Yes, there are possessions, but hearts are getting smaller.
We won cars, houses came second,
But when the children were growing up, where did the mother wither?

There is money, thank God, of course, God bless,
But even gathering at a table is no longer possible.
Family ties have weakened, we don't realize,
Friendship, brotherhood disappeared, our series remained empty.

Was it difficult to sit in a house and have a conversation?,
Everyone is facing themselves, hearts are frozen, cold.
We have won a lot, we have lost more,
The abundance has gone, the peace has become the lost revenue.

Financial opportunities have expanded, houses have risen,
But friendships, relatives, they were all erased.
The business has grown, there is a lot of money, but what is the use?
When peace leaves the heart, life becomes meaningless.

We could not Decamp, together with our family,
The conversations disappeared, we were left alone.
Happiness cannot be bought with money, love is needed,
It means investing in the heart, not in the world.

Gathering at a table, the biggest gain,
Time spent with family, that's the real peace.
Although the property is expanding, our heart has contracted,
We have lost peace, friends, the world has deceived us.

Now let's go back and see what we forgot,
What is missing, perhaps, is the peace of the heart.
We won but we lost, realize that,
Do not follow the world, but the truth.
