Akranlarım evlenip yuva kuruyor
Benim yaşantımsa hayallerim alıyor
Evlenip te bir yuva kurayım derken
Çileler kederler her yerde beni arıyor
İçerimde bir sızı durmadan sızılar
Evleneyim dedim babamgil kızdılar
Arkadaşlar evlenmiş çocuklarını gezdirir
Kader böyle istemiş dediler kuyumuzu kazdılar
Yıllarda durmadan gelip de geçer
Felek bile burada zenginlerin tarafını seçer
Sanki bu dünyada bir ben fazlayım
Kader ağlarında sadece baykuşlar uçar
Kış geldi dayandı her tarafım üşüyor
Babama söylüyorum babam kaçıyor
Feleğin ettiği canım ayetti
Bir avuç mutlulukta bana saçmıyor

Sufferings and sorrows are looking for me everywhere
An ache inside me keeps aching.
I said I should get married, they got angry like my father
Friends take their married children around
They said fate wanted it this way and they dug our well.
It comes and goes over the years
Even fate chooses the side of the rich here
It's like I'm the only one left in this world
Only owls fly in the webs of fate
Winter has come and endured, I'm cold all over
I tell my father, my father is running away

A handful of happiness does not spread to me either
